Currently designing a mediation app with a social component. User research is still underway.
User research began with a survey for Mark's large student base, followed by in depth interviews with three users. Using the information gleaned from the stakeholder interviews, I conducted a card sorting exercise with the users [See slide II]. The data collected was used as the foundation on which all personas were created.
The primary persona is Samantha Potter, a female peditircian in her late 30s. She is a student of Mark's online class and attends Mark's various retreats and, when in LA, attends both his Salons and in person classes.
A closed card sorting exercise was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the menu categories.
When a user clicks on the ME navigation button he or she could check his/ her progress in their practice; set a reminder to practice; or set a timer for the duration of his/her practice. The above flows represent these options.
These two flows represent the the potential actions a user could take when engaging with the 'iPromise' or 'INFO' options.
